IREX Fixed City Traffic Chaos: 23M Violations Detected in 1 Year

IREX Ethical AI's unique modules are transforming urban environments across the globe, creating safer and more efficient cities. The Ulaanbaatar City Council in Mongolia has announced impressive results achieved through the deployment of the IREX video analytics platform. From February to December last year in Mongolia, these systems detected 23 million violations.

In general, the road analytics module has delivered significant improvements in traffic management, compliance, and overall road safety at key intersections.

Proven Impact on Traffic Flow and Driver Behavior

The implementation of IREX's AI-powered traffic violation detection system at major capital intersections has resulted in optimized traffic management and a significant boost in traffic flow capacity.

From February to December 2025, the system detected a total of 23 million violations, with officials confirming over 74,000 violations recorded daily. Since the launch of this smart system, 1,000 to 4,000 violation notices are being issued daily to drivers. This is a very positive behavioral shift: motorists are maintaining proper lanes, strictly complying with traffic regulations, and demonstrating more responsible driving practices.

The uniqueness of the system

IREX stands out as a unique system due to its ability to turn conventional, and even outdated, city CCTV cameras into smart tools through AI integration. Furthermore, the system has powerful multitasking capabilities, supported by various AI modules, which allows city authorities to solve complex and previously unmanageable tasks.

For example, while IREX improves traffic management in Asia, reducing congestion and preventing fatal accidents, on the other side of the world, in Latin America, this platform is locating missing and abducted children. IREX is already recognized in many countries in the region as one of the best solutions to a historical problem that has persisted for generations. These same problems are now being addressed using the IREX platform in California, USA.

Just recently, IREX announced a partnership with Equius, a joint project that aims to not only ensure the safety of equestrian infrastructure but also monitor the health of horses in the multi-million dollar horse racing industry.
