The latest version of the IREX Vehicle Analytics engine enables instant searches for vehicles by brand, color, and type across millions of vehicles captured by road surveillance cameras. The video demo above showcases the Searchveillance™ user interface locating a red BMW on the A30 motorway in London. IREX Vehicle Analytics empowers law enforcement and security teams to locate and trace stolen vehicles and identify dangerous drivers, even with minimal information.
The IREX Vehicle Analytics engine supports searches using the following criteria:
- Vehicle License Plates (e.g., PE62 RMN): Search by full or partial vehicle numbers on single and double-line plates. The system supports normal, inverted, and custom plates. Users can specify the country of issue, and vehicles with known license plates can be traced on a scalable map throughout the country.
- Vehicle Make (e.g., Ford, BMW, Mercedes): Supports over 30 brands of vehicles manufactured within the last 5-10 years.
- Vehicle Color (e.g., black, white, red): Note that this criterion may be less effective with black and white cameras or cameras with poor color settings.
- Vehicle Type (e.g., passenger, bus, truck).
The real-word recognition accuracy of vehicle license plates and known brands exceeds 98%, thanks to datasets augmentation and synthetic image generation.
All search criteria can be combined with geographic area (e.g., London) and time frame (e.g., last 7 days).
