The field of AI ethics has largely emerged as a response to the range of global, individual and societal harms from the misuse, abuse, poor design, or negative unintended consequences of some currently deployed AI systems which caused the harm and are still causing a significant amount of legal action on a global scale.
Ashley Moore is currently the co-chair on the NIST AI Standards Coordination Working Group. Ashley is also an AI Governance and Ethicist within the Executive Branch that heads up organizational AI Strategy, Policy, Compliance & more.
